Donald Trump began his second term with a flurry of executive orders, painting a picture of the ideology of the incoming administration.

• Jan 20, 2025: Established the Department of Government Efficiency, “DOGE”
  • Originally outlined as a way to find and reduce wasteful spending, the executive order states the department’s purpose is, “modernizing Federal technology and software to maximize governmental efficiency and productivity”.
• Jan 21, 2025: Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity
  • Among other things, revokes an Equal Employment Opportunity Executive Order from 1965.
